4 - TARGETED EXPOSURE
The website is like setting up a storefront in a back alley . If people know it is there, they will come seeking the products and services offered there. But, how will they know that it's there? Your website needs to be advertised, just like the storefront, to interested parties. Your current customers are interested, so you'll want to promote your web address on your business cards, stationery, newsletters, and brochures. Your media ads will attract interest from prospective clients, so include your web address in your ads. Send press releases to appropriate publications to announce your new site. And, of course, you need to submit your site to the directory and search sites on the Internet, too. (We'll start the ball rolling by registering you with the major search sites, but you'll need to get involved also).
